Kids ages 4-7 have many falls, bumps, and bruises. They need to be taught that their body can heal bruises. They also need to know that falls, bumps, and bruises need to be cleaned and cared for. Last, kids must understand that parents must know about these falls, bumps, and bruises because it is the parent that needs to check it out and decide what care is needed.
